born 1971, Kraków, Poland
lives in Co. Wicklow, Ireland

1980 — Rafal becomes inter­ested in pho­to­graphy, ini­tially in the medi­um format, and in tra­di­tion­al dark­room tech­niques. His pro­fes­sion­al edu­ca­tion focuses on math­em­at­ics and inform­a­tion technology.

1990 — Leaves Poland, and reads IT at Imperial College, University of London where he earns BEng in Computing Science fol­lowed by MSc in Foundations of Advanced Information Technology. His stud­ies are sponsored by Oxford Computer Group Ltd, where he later works as a developer, train­er, and a consultant.

2000 — Works for Project Botticelli Ltd. Rafal is an IT expert and a speak­er. In his pro­fes­sion­al capa­city, he vis­its 20 – 40 coun­tries every year.

2001 — His pas­sion for large format pho­to­graphy becomes real­ity with Navajo Arch one of his very first pho­to­graphs taken in that medium.

2008 — Group exhib­i­tion No Pixels, Airfield Trust (Dublin, Ireland).

2011 — Solo exhib­i­tion (Be)Longing, Stained Glass Museum (Kraków, Poland).

2014 — Solo exhib­i­tion Abstract Landscapes, Haven Studio (Casper, Wyoming, USA).
